Assistant Professor Molecular Biology & Genetics

The Assistant Professor Molecular Biology & Genetics will lead and promote the institution's research and innovation activities. Key responsibilities include mentoring faculty and postgraduate trainees, supporting research proposal development and grant writing, ensuring ethical and regulatory compliance, conducting capacity-building workshops, fostering national and international research collaborations, and securing competitive research funding from government, industry, and other national and international funding agencies. The incumbent will also oversee grant management and contribute to strengthening the institution's research capacity and innovation ecosystem.

Applicants for Assistant Professor Molecular Biology & Genetics must hold a PhD in Molecular Biology from an HEC recognized university, along with five research publications in HEC recognized journals. A minimum of 5 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized university or a post-graduation institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization is required. Additionally, Level III or Level IV qualification commensurate with Pakistan Medical & Dental Council's approved criteria for appointment and promotion will be acceptable.

• Qualification: PhD in Molecular Biology from HEC recognized university; Level III or Level IV qualification as per PM&DC criteria.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized university or post-graduation institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization, with five research publications in HEC recognized journals.
