About Quantity Surveyor (Civil)
Pakistan Council of Scientific & Industrial Research is hiring for the post of Quantity Surveyor (Civil) (1 post) in Islamabad.
The Quantity Surveyor (Civil) will be responsible for the scrutiny of contractor bills for building and infrastructure projects, along with the preparation and review of estimates, BOQ, and tender documents. The role requires strong analytical skills for variation statements and rate analysis, supported by proficiency in relevant software.
Requirements for Quantity Surveyor (Civil)
Applicants for Quantity Surveyor (Civil) must hold a B Tech/DAE in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in scrutinizing bills and preparing estimates.
- Education: B Tech/DAE in Civil
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in scrutiny of bills of building & infrastructure contractors, preparation of estimates (minor/major works on Pak PWD Schedule), preparation & review of BOQ, tender documents, scrutiny of bills of contractors, MBs, variation statement and Rate analysis etc.
- Skills: Expertise in Drawings, AutoCAD design, CoST-X, Primavera, MS Project or similar QS software, and MS Office (preferred).
