Senior Technical Analyst - CBA (OG-I)

The Senior Technical Analyst will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations and technical support for Core Banking Systems within the National Bank of Pakistan.

• To ensure projects, problems, service requests, and escalations are dealt with according to a defined set of policies, processes, procedures, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• To ensure and emphasize the impact of risks related to data loss, corruption, and / or unauthorized access.
• To identify solution designs and conduct technical risk analysis for any change requests or new solutions in Core Banking posture by comprehending the application architecture, database touchpoints, application server touchpoints and assessing performance impact.
• To promote open communication, teamwork, and trust to support performance and cultivate a customer service-oriented culture.
• To track technical issues, identify resolutions jointly with application vendors and / or Infra Systems vendors, server / OS / storage experts.
• To ensure comprehensive analysis is conducted, with full consideration of the impact on existing Production Systems.
• To assist seniors in new initiatives for working out project plans, validating infrastructure requirements, technical details and comparative Vendor Evaluation Sheets.
• To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s).

Applicants for Senior Technical Analyst must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering and possess relevant experience and skills.

• Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent, or a Master's degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent, from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan. Relevant certification(s) will be preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 04 years of experience in the field of IT, out of which 02 years of hands-on experience in maintenance and / or configuration and / or deployment of Core Banking Systems and / or Allied Solutions. Candidates having experience with FIS PROFILE Core Banking System will be preferred.
• Skills: Expertise in Database Technologies (Oracle, DBSQL, SQL Server, NoSQL), hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems, strong knowledge of VMware technology, version control tools (SVN / GitLab), WebServer (Apache / Websphere). Ability to display excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to technical audiences, ability to share relevant technical and / or industry knowledge, good understanding of project lifecycle and documentation, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong working knowledge of MS Office suite.
