Eligibility and Qualifications
Applicants for the Vice Chancellor position at Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Preferably hold a PhD and a first professional degree in the disciplines of Visual Arts and Design.
- Experience & Competence: Candidates will be assessed based on their academic and leadership abilities and attainments. Significant evidence of meaningful academic, administration, and professional competence in art and design, strategic planning, financial management, and resource development is required.
- Understanding: A holistic understanding of issues pertaining to the higher education sector is considered a major asset. This includes knowledge of the design industry, enhancement of pedagogy and quality assurance, research and development, impact on the economy, development of human and financial resources, and constructive social interaction with communities.
