Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates applying for the Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) positions must meet the following criteria:

  • Qualification: A Graduate degree (2nd Division) from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
  • Age Limit: Applicants must be between 21 and 28 years of age as of the last date for submitting online applications.
  • Physical Standards (Male):
    • Height: Minimum 5 feet 5 inches.
    • Chest: Minimum 33 inches with an expansion of 1.5 inches.
    • Running: 1600 meters in 8 minutes.
  • Physical Standards (Female):
    • Height: Minimum 5 feet.
    • Physical Fitness: Must pass a physical strength test.
    • Running: 800 meters in 14 minutes.
  • Domicile: Only domicile holders of Sindh province are eligible.
  • Quota Eligibility:
    • Legal heirs of police employees who passed away or became permanently disabled on or before September 26, 2024, and hold a Sindh domicile, are eligible.
    • Legal heirs of martyred police employees who attained martyrdom status by the application deadline and hold a domicile of the relevant range in Sindh are eligible under the Shaheed quota.
    • For the Shaheed quota, second claims will only be considered for legal heirs whose father, brothers, or husband attained martyrdom after June 11, 2014 (enforcement of Shaheed Act 2014).
    • Applicants whose father/mother passed away before September 2, 2002, are not eligible for the deceased/disabled quota.
    • Applicants whose father/mother passed away on or after September 16, 2014, can apply within two years of the employee’s death/disability for the deceased/disabled quota.

Important Instructions

  • No online application will be accepted after the specified deadline.
  • Any false, exaggerated, or misleading information provided in the application will lead to rejection and potential termination from service at any stage.
  • No relaxation will be granted in the upper age limit, qualification, or eligibility criteria.
  • Candidates will be informed about test dates, times, locations, admit slips, and results via online SMS alerts. It is mandatory for applicants to regularly visit the STS website/portal for updates.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for attending tests or interviews.

  2. After successfully completing the online application, download the system-generated challan form for PKR 1500 (non-refundable).
  3. Deposit the application fee at any branch of Allied Bank Limited (ABL) or through the My ABL App. Alternatively, candidates can use the 1-Link banking portal for payment.
  4. Ensure all required documents are prepared for submission, including CNIC (front and back), Domicile, PRC/Form-D, a recent photograph, educational certificates, death certificate (for deceased/martyred employees), heirship certificate (for disabled quota), declaration of martyred/deceased, FIR (for martyred quota only), and an affidavit from the spouse/widow and other legal heirs.
  5. All applications will be processed under the Sindh Police (Martyred, Deceased, and Invalidated Quota Recruitment Rules 2021).
  6. The last date for submitting online applications and for age calculation is October 15, 2026.
