Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates must meet specific educational and experience requirements for each position. Detailed qualifications and experience are outlined below for each role.

Instructions for the Candidates

1. Eligibility will be determined based on the applicant’s qualification, relevant experience, performance in a written test (70%), and interview (30%).
2. Candidates currently serving in Railways or any other government department must apply through proper channels with a departmental NOC.
3. Incomplete applications or those with incorrect information will be rejected. Any bogus documents found will lead to cancellation of appointment and legal action.
4. Selected officials/officers may undergo training at Pakistan Railways Academy Walton or Land Directorate as deemed necessary.
5. Selected candidates will be posted anywhere in the Pakistan Railways system.
6. No TA/DA will be admissible for test and interview.
7. Selected candidates are required to pass a prescribed Medical Examination.

• Accommodation may be provided based on the priority list maintained by Railways administration.
• TA/DA will be allowed as admissible to other civil servants.
• Additional increments will be added to salaries based on years of experience in their respective field.
• Entitlement to annual increments as per the equivalent pay scale.
• The contract period is for 02 + 01 year, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and approval of competent authority.
• All facilities including duty passes/privilege passes/PTOs, medical facilities from Railways hospitals (given to officers of equivalent scale) will be admissible, excluding pension/gratuity/GPF.
