Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates must meet the specific educational and physical standards for each position:

SI (BS-14)

Applicants for SI (BS-14) must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university and meet the following physical standards:

• Education: BA/B.Sc. or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Minimum Height: 5 ft-7 inches for males, 5 ft-2 inches for females.
• Chest: 33×34½ inches (for men only).
• Endurance Test: 01 Mile run in 07 minutes for males & in 10 minutes for females.

ASI (BS-11)

Applicants for ASI (BS-11) must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university and meet the following physical standards:

• Education: BA/B.Sc. or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Minimum Height: 5 ft-7 inches for males, 5 ft-2 inches for females.
• Chest: 33×34½ inches (for men only).
• Endurance Test: 01 Mile run in 07 minutes for males & in 10 minutes for females.

Constable (BS-07)

Applicants for Constable (BS-07) must hold a Matriculation certificate or equivalent from a recognized Board and meet the following physical standards:

• Education: Matric or equivalent from a recognized Board.
• Minimum Height: 5 ft-7 inches for males, 5 ft-2 inches for females.
• Chest: 33×34½ inches (for men only).
• Endurance Test: 01 Mile run in 07 minutes for males & in 10 minutes for females.

Mandatory Requirements

Candidates must produce the following original certificates/documents at the time of interview:

• CNIC issued by NADRA
• Academic certificates
• Domicile certificate
• 02 passport size photographs with blue background
• Affidavit duly countersigned by respective Deputy Commissioner in case of applying against minorities (non-Muslims) quota.

General Instructions

• No relaxation in height, chest, and age will be granted to any candidate.
• Applicants are bound to provide correct information. Providing false information will lead to legal action under Section 420/468/471 PPC (forgery/fraud/cheating), punishable with imprisonment up to seven years.
• Candidates must disclose involvement in any criminal case(s) as an undertaking on the online application portal. An affidavit in this regard must also be submitted at the time of interview. False undertakings/affidavits will result in application cancellation, debarment from future police posts, and legal action. The affidavit format can be downloaded from www.npftas.pk or www.islamabadpolice.gov.pk.
• Transgender persons can apply as per their self-perceived gender identity in accordance with the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2018, and as gender mentioned in CNIC.
• Government employees meeting eligibility criteria must apply through the proper channel.
• Candidates applying for family claim (real son/grand-son, real daughter/grand-daughter of a serving/retired/deceased police employee) must provide complete documentation (FRC, pension book, retirement order, etc.) at the time of interview.
• Verification of character and academic antecedents will be conducted. Any bogus/false information or criminal record will lead to immediate withdrawal/cancellation of selection, discharge from service (if found after employment), and legal proceedings.
• Details of examination centers are available on the application portal, where candidates can select two test centers priority-wise. The designation of the center is the exclusive domain of ICT Police.
• Candidates are advised to wear joggers or suitable shoes and bring their own drinking water for the endurance test. They are responsible for getting medically checked from Government or District Hospitals to ensure fitness before the endurance test and must bring their medical report.
• Only candidates who qualify the physical/endurance and computer-based/written tests will be called for an interview. Failing any stage/test will result in disqualification.
• The Departmental Recruitment Board (DRB) and its staff will re-verify physical standards at the interview stage if needed. Any deficiency will lead to disqualification, and the DRB’s decision will be final.
• Candidates with higher qualifications will receive preference at the interview stage.
• Final selection requires a complete medical examination by the medical board/Civil Surgeon of the Federal Government. Candidates with Hepatitis B & C or any other perpetual ailments will be disqualified.
• Selected candidates must accept the Rules/Regulations governing conduct, discipline, promotion, retirement, and other ancillary matters framed by the Government.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for written or computer-based tests, physical/endurance tests, skill tests, or interviews.
• Candidates will be informed about updates via the application portal/SMS/email. Regularly check the portal for updates.
• Applicants must provide an active mobile number not converted to another network.
