Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates applying for these faculty positions at Kohsar University Murree must meet specific educational and experience requirements as detailed below. All qualifications must be from HEC-recognized institutions.

• For Professor (BS-21): A PhD or equivalent in the relevant field is required. Candidates must also possess significant teaching or research experience, typically 15 years, or 10 years post-PhD experience combined with a strong publication record (15 research publications, with 5 in the last five years).
• For Assistant Professor (BS-19): A PhD or equivalent qualification in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized institution is mandatory.
• For Lecturer (BS-18): An MS or MPhil (1st Division) or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institution in the relevant discipline is required. Applicants with a 3rd division in their academic career are generally not eligible, unless they hold a PhD in the relevant field and have not more than one third division in their entire academic career.

Age limits range from 35-50 years for Professors, 25-45 years for Assistant Professors, and 21-35 years for Lecturers. Age relaxation may be admissible as per the Government of Punjab policy.
