Eligibility and Qualifications

Controller of Examinations (BPS-20)

Applicants for Controller of Examinations must meet the following criteria:

• Qualification: At least a Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) from an HEC-recognized higher education institution, with no third division in the academic career. Preference will be given to highly qualified candidates.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the Examination Department of a university, with adequate computer proficiency required to effectively manage the department.

This is a tenure post for three (03) years.

Assistant Professor (BPS-19)

Candidates for Assistant Professor must have:

• Qualification: Ph.D in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, or Information Technology from an HEC recognized Higher Education Institution in consultation with an accreditation body, with no 3rd division in the academic career.
• Experience: Candidates having 1-2 years Teaching / Research experience may be given preference.

Lecturer (BPS-18)

For the Lecturer position, applicants should possess:

• Qualification: Master’s Degree equivalent to 18 Years Education with 3.0 CGPA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, or Information Technology from an HEC recognized Higher Education Institution in consultation with an accreditation body, with no 3rd division in the academic career.
• Experience: Candidates having 1-2 years Teaching / Research experience may be given preference.

Assistant Director, QEC (BPS-17)

Requirements for Assistant Director, QEC are:

• Qualification: Preferably a First-Class Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) or equivalent qualification recognized by HEC, with no 3rd division in the academic career.
• Experience: Preference will be given to candidates having experience in quality assurance, particularly in a university or higher education institution, with sound knowledge of the semester system, QEC standards and procedures, and HEC quality assurance policies and guidelines.

Personal Secretary to the Rector (BPS-17)

Applicants for Personal Secretary to the Rector should meet the following:

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) or equivalent qualification recognized by HEC, with no 3rd division in the academic career.
• Experience: Preference will be given to candidates who are fluent in English and have experience working as a Personal Secretary in the office of any University/Institute or other senior executive, with sound knowledge of office administration and executive support.

Assistant Director Accounts (PPS-7) Project Management Unit (PMU) Contractual (2 years)

For this contractual role, the requirements are:

• Qualification: At least 16 years Education 2nd Class BS/BBA/MBA(Finance) from HEC recognized University/Institution. Additional qualification (ACCA/ICMA/CA (article ship completed)) will be given due weightage.
• Experience: At least two years’ experience in audit, finance, and account in the Government sector or in a reputable firm. Candidates must have sound knowledge of modern accounting principles, public sector/Government financial rules, audit and procedures, and possess excellent command of accounting software.

This position is contractual for two years.

Lab Instructor (BPS-16)

Candidates for Lab Instructor must have:

• Qualification: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/Cyber Security, Information Technology, or Data Science from an HEC-recognized university/degree-awarding institute.
• Experience: Reference will be given to candidates who have experience in managing, troubleshooting, and teaching Lab Based courses in higher education institutes.
